National Meetings
March 19-21, 2009 - 3rd "Honoring Our Warriors" Conference
Dear Veteran,
Thank you for your service to our Nation. Freedom isn't free and no one understands this better than the Veteran who has been on the "frontlines of freedom", ever since this Nation was founded. It is for this very reason that the National American Indian Veterans, Inc. (NAIV, INC) is hosting its third National Annual Conference from 19-21 March 2009 at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa, Convention Center, Cabazon, California. The American Indian veteran is the most underserved veteran in the Nation yet serves in the Armed Forces more than any other ethnic group on a per capita basis. It is important that tribal veterans attend this National Conference and participate in discussions that will enhance VA opportunities for themselves and their families. Participating in this Conference will be key Staff from the Federal VA, the Arizona and California Departments of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Service Organizations and private Companies. Hosting this National American Indian Veterans Conference with NAIV is the Great Morongo Tribe of Cabazon California. NAIV, Inc invites all Veterans from around the Nation, both Tribal and Non-Tribal to attend and participate as well as Alaskan Natives, American Samoa and Hawaii, as well as American Philippine and Hispanic Veterans. Members of the American Legion, VFW, Purple Heart, Vietnam Veterans of America, DAV, Am-Vets, and American GI Forum are also invited to attend. The 18th of March will be a travel Date and opening Day Ceremony will occur the 19th. There will be key note Speakers throughout the day followed by music and entertainment on the nights of the 19th and 20th. The 21st will be a travel day back home.
Sincerely,
Don
