What is RSS?
RSS stands for “Rich Site Summary”, or "Real Simple Syndication" and is used to share news headlines and other types of free content from a website. By subscribing to an RSS feed, you can be automatically notified when a site has been updated, without having to visit the site. You read an RSS feed in a program called an aggregator, or feed reader, which collects feeds from various websites and provides it to you in a simple form.
